We have been blessed with a lot of rain the last few weeks, So good to see the grass and the garden growing so well!
I am planning a delivery through the Fraser Valley on July 25. I would still like to get a delivery location in North Vancouver, so if anyone has contacts there, please let me know or have them contact me!
I just brought home a pickup load of beef from the butcher so we are fully stocked again! What a blessing to be back at our original slaughterhouse and butcher facilities. Back in April there was a bit of a challenge there and we were forced to utilize a different facility in Prince George. They served us well but its nice to be back to normal!
We are working on price increases to be in place for the July delivery. Most of the cuts of meat will be going up by $1/lb. We will try to leave the ground beef at $10/lb and the stew meat at d$12.50. We need to increase our prices as the price of cattle that we need to purchase has gone up over the last 8 months and we need to stay in line with that. Cattle prices are at an all time high and the future seems to point to a continued climb for some time yet.
Here is a picture of our bull with a couple of the calves from this spring, They are looking great and should be ready for your freezers in 2026!!
